Identification and Characterization of Antagonistic Bacteria from Coffee Plant Litter

نویسندگان

چکیده

Nowadays, the use of antagonistic bacteria is widely applied in agriculture and used as biological control. A previous study which yet to be identified based on physiological biochemical characterizations discovered these organisms present coffee plant litter could control fusarium wilt disease. Therefore, this a follow-up analysis that aims identify with ability The investigation techniques were tests comprising endospore staining, yellow colony growth test media, bacterial purification screening, macroscopic microscopic characterization, Gram, solubility 3% KOH, fermentative oxidative, fluorescent pigment production, catalase, hypersensitivity, nitrogen-fixing, phosphate solvent test. results showed bacteria, including Bacillus mycoides, Clostridium, Pseudomonas, Erwinia, and Alcaligenes sp. their character traits. This represents new information types from pathogenic fungi an environmentally friendly agent.

Isolation and characterization of plant growth-promoting bacteria from Syrian bean caper (Zygophyllum fabago) rhizosphere

Some rhizobacteria have positive effects on plants growth. Syrian bean-caper (Zygophyllum fabago) is a weed plant with medicinal value. This study was conducted to isolate and identify bacteria from Syrian bean-caper rhizosphere. Characteristics associated with plant growth stimulation, such as phosphate and zinc dissolution, production of Indole acetic acid and antifungal activity, were invest...

Characterization of Aromatic Hydrocarbon Degrading Bacteria Isolated from Pine Litter

Using a novel pine needle agar, fifteen bacterial species were isolated from pine litter. These bacteria were able to degrade aromatic hydrocarbons derived from lignin and utilize the ortho-cleavage of the β-ketoadipate pathway to degrade protocatechuate or catechol. A different utilization array of aromatic hydrocarbons by these bacteria was also determined. This study provides the information...
